Day 16
The Power of Persistence.
- Give thanks
- Do 10 deep breaths
- Drink 16 ounces of water upon awakening
- Dry brush your body
- Move your body
- Drink 8-10 glasses of water throughout the day
Your Breakfast - Fruit until noonish, 2-3 pieces, scattered over the morning. Eat each piece when you are truly hungry.
Your Lunch: raw foods and a Starch dish OR Protein dish of your choice. You can make a dressing with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, OR coconut oil, OR essential fatty acids for your salad.
Snack - Choose raw veggies and if you eat a concentrated food, keep it to 1/4 cup or less.
Your Dinner: raw foods and a Starch dish OR Protein dish of your choice. You can make a dressing with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, OR coconut oil, OR essential fatty acids for your salad.
Okay.
So you need some motivating to stick with this. Some days may seem harder than searching for a needle in a haystack.
You may find yourself failing more often than not and your choices are not as healthy as you wish they were. This might give you the silly idea that you should toss in the towel because this whole Living Well business is just too tough.
Failure and hardship. They are inevitable you know. Why not embrace it now and see the good in it?
Do you know that Abraham Lincoln failed at every business he tried until he became president of the United States? And he did not get elected to the presidency until he was in his 60's!
One thing is for sure. If you don't give up you have no choice but to end up successful in what you are doing.
I am the first to admit it is challenging eating healthy in a toxic world, but it does get easier. Hang in there!
