Day 5
Still Suffering?
- Give thanks (especially if you are suffering…)
- Do 10 deep breaths
- Drink 16 ounces of water upon awakening
- Dry brush your body
- Move your body
- Drink 8-10 glasses of water throughout the day
Your Breakfast - Fruit until noonish and add some protein if you need to.
Your Lunch: raw food salad and a Starch dish OR Protein dish of your choice. You can make a dressing with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, OR coconut oil, OR essential fatty acids for your salad.
Snack
Your Dinner: raw foods and a Starch dish OR Protein dish of your choice. You can make a dressing with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, OR coconut oil, OR essential fatty acids for your salad.
You may be one of those that are dealing with toxic release and you are hurting right now. You might be feeling one or many symptoms of detox.
Once you make a healthy change in your diet or lifestyle, your cells begin to eliminate the toxic substances. Before finding the exit, however, the toxins are released into the blood stream and are carried through the circulatory system.
Below are the possible symptoms you may get:
- clogged sinus
- constipation
- cough
- diarrhea
- fatigue
- fever
- flu symptoms
- cold symptoms
- gas
- headache
- irritability
- moodiness
- skin rash
- stomachache, etc.
Once you have cleaned out your body, the symptoms will subside.
After this phase ends, you will begin to see how much richer you are for having decided to Live Well.




I feel like this post was written just for me LOL! I had some SEVERE detox symptoms last night and a bit today. But I just kept eating my fruits and veggies and avoided the gluten and it is starting to ease up. The good news is I weighed in today at 239.1. That is amazing! I started this journey at 250lbs and now one month later and I have lost 10.9 pounds. I am just 6.1 lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight and my baby is only 4 months old. I feel amazing and it isnt hard. I have very few cravings, my appetite has normalized and my mood is more pleasant. Its hard to believe that it is simply from eating more fruits and vegetables. I mean could it truly be this easy? It kind of makes me upset in a way that I couldn't make this change earlier it all seems so simple now.
